Evaluation
An evaluation shall be conducted on all persons enrolled in the DUI program.
The component shall include a psychosocial evaluation to determine the
existence of a possible alcohol or other drug abuse problem. The substance
abuse evaluation component involves the identification, collection, analysis,
and interpretation of information about the client. This enables the Evaluator
to make a decision regarding the extent of the client's involvement with
alcohol and/or drugs, and the need for substance abuse counseling or treatment
to address that involvement.
DUI Counterattack's certified Evaluators are bound by Professional Ethics,
following the ethics prescribed by the American Psychological Association, as
well as federal and state laws to protect the confidentiality of our clients.
The confidentiality of alcohol and drug abuse patient records maintained by
this program is protected by Federal Law. Only information of a general nature
may be released unless the proper release of information has been signed.
Evaluation appointments are scheduled during the
registration process when registering for the DUI program.
